Go to Tools, Master Tag Type List and choose the Census tag you want to
change. Then click the Edit button. Choose the Other tab. Under "Display
witnessed tags" click the radio button that says "Using the label above" and
click OK. That should change the witness tags for that tag to show up as
the label you set up for it and not just witness.

In the Detail window, I can see Census events that I have entered. I just
noticed there some of the events are listed differently than others.

An example for one individual I have:

Census1880 05 Jun 1880 wife; Franscisco Sponable; Duvale Township, Jasper,
MO
Witness 11 Jun 1900 wife; Census 1900: Francisco Sponable; Main
Street, Alba, MO

Why the difference in form? I would prefer the Tag Type to be Census1880
rather than Witness. For this person the 1850, 1870, 1900, 1910, and 1920
show Witness and the 1880 shows Census1880.
