Subject: v6.07 VCF box color fill

I created a Desc. box chart in VCF and colored the boxes. No problem.
Now I've created a more current Desc. box chart of the same group of people in VCF with photos in the boxes and I can't seem to make the box color fill work.
I started looking at the differences between the two charts.
On the chart that I can't add color to there are two choices on the GENERAL tab of the COMPONENT PROPERTIES window in a little box that are not on the same window of the chart I can make the color work on. Those two choices are:
Bitmap properties (the name above the two choices):
transparent, which I check or uncheck, and
transparency color. where I can choose a color.
I don't know why these choices are on this chart and not on the other chart.
I don't know what they mean.
Are these two choices the reason I can't make the box color fill work on the newer chart?
