Barbara,

I think that this is a consequence of 2 differences between the 2 charts.
Wholly Genes changed the way transparent worked - I can't exactly remember
the reason why. Secondly, if you, in your chart options selected
"Transparent" box fill before you generate a chart, then that chart cannot
be filled manually from within VCF.

I have reported this "nuking" of the manual fill operation as a bug - but
to my knowledge it has not been responded to.

The fix is to NEVER use "Transparent" box fill option if you ever want to
edit the chart fill.
