Robin,
Thanks for the suggestion. I just created another chart making certain
that the "transparent" box fill was NOT checked and I still can't color fill
the boxes. As I was attempting to color fill the box I also made sure the
foreground color and background color transparency choices were NOT checked
on the component properties window as I was choosing the color.
You said "is a consequence of 2 differences between the 2 charts", but I
don't see where you explained the second difference. Did I miss it or did
you forget to mention it? :-)
One thing I do notice is that when I click on the 'apply' button after I
have selected a color for the background on the component properties
window, the foregrond color 'bar' becomes the 'highlighted' bar, not the
background color bar. I hope I explained that in a way you know what I'm
talking about.
