Are you wanting a phrase like "on an unknown date"? If you omit the
Conditional Markers (the angle brackets) from around the Date
Variable of a Sentence then the above phrase will print. The
Condition Markers tell TMG to ignore the Variable if the field is
blank. But if the Markers are not present then TMG prints the phrase.
