Thank you for your reply. I am using Version 6.09.

The problem occurred during 'Optimizing', and I have since found that (2)
files were missing from the project folder after the crash. They were the
files ending with NPV.CDX & NPV.DBF.

I located the missing FoxFix5.DLL file from another user, and during the
repair process is when I found these files missing.

So back to square one and I have restored from my backup losing about (3)
hours of work.

Are you using v5 or v6? If you haven't already, try rebooting your
