I am new with TMG and have recently moved from Reunion. The individual
notes that show up in TMG do not show the source number within in the memo
field as they are displayed in Reunion. All the sources for the memo are
listed under citations. The problem is that I can not tell which part of
the memo is associated with what citation number. Is there any easy way to
fix this? I hate to think I have to go through each person individually.
Thanks in advance
I think I know the answer to this one. You right click in the memo field
and find embedded citations. This is how you can have multiple citations in
a memo. There are other things like carriage return in there too.

Maybe, not, but that's how you create them. BTW somehow my reply must not
have gone to the list so no one else has gotten this. I am a novice at the
more advance features of TMG and there are many more expert than me that may
be able to help figure out how to import your embedded citations.
Just wondering, why did you switch to TMG?
Allen C.
I switched to TMG since Reunion was a DOS program and its successor
(Generations) was no longer supported. According to what I saw about TMG it
would allow direct import from Generations. I've had other problems with
the conversion. This is just one of the problems. Seems that the problems
are major and I am dreading that the only way to fix them is person by
person and with over 10,000 people it's downright discouraging.
