Adding to what Terry wrote, I'd change the filter to:
Living Equals N
For the Living flag, "N" means not living, "Y" means living, and "?" means
don't know but is treated as living. Unless you have explicitly set the flag
to "Y" for all people who are (or might be) living, then it's safer to limit
yourself to the Living=N.
You may have people in your project that are dead but do not have a Death
event and also do not have a Birth event in the distant past. You know they
are dead because they are the parents of someone who was born a long time
ago or they have a marriage event from the distant past. For those people,
the living flag might be set to "?". You can use TMG Utility's "Set
Living=N" feature to address that situation. See:
