Having learned the hard way, by experience, I probably am over conservative
about my backups, however this is what I do. Although, I have never lost any
of my geney data, I did lose a lot of files on my job due to my negligence
in backing up properly.

I have two internal hardrives on my desktop system. I routinely create a
backup of my TMG files whenver I close the program (if I am doing any amount
of inputting data) to the opposite drive from the drive that my program and
file are stored on. Then twice a week I back-up my entire system to an
external drive that I recently purchased. It is a Seagate and uses
Bounceback software which I find very easy to use.

In addition I keep a copy of my program and project files on a laptop that I
take with me on trips. I normally only update this file before traveling.
I also store a copy of my back-up on a jump drive that I take with me
whenever we leave the house unoccupied for any length of time. I also use
the jump/flash drive to transfer the files from my desktop system to the
laptop.

Hopefully, I will never lose all of them.

Karen
