Subject: Default Exhibits Folder

In File/Preferences/Options/Current Project Options/Advanced there is a
default Exhibits folder and it has me confused. I thought that this folder
was used to backup & restore external images, but Dennis wrote that this
folder is not used by TMG to backup or restore external images. Also I
noticed that all external images record the full path to the root of the
hard drive - in the exhibits log/properties.

So, the question is: How is this pointer (default exhibits folder) used?

The only place I can find it used is in "Save to External Image" where it us
used as the path name to the image being saved.
