Having responded to Virginia B. and bob gillis, I went back to fooling
around with the problem. Apparently, even if you have to make one up, you have to
have a date for a marriage if you want a full FGS to format. Not that that
neccesarily makes any sense--I have a lot of marriages with no dates--but I
guess if that's what's wanted....
