Hmmm. I could use this, too, now and then. Think you are going to have to
do the one by one approach.

Sledgehammer method would be to use the focus group to export the people to
a new project, add the citation globally, and then re-merge the projects,
then the datasets. Challenge would be to repair connections after the
re-merge, so it probably isn't feasible that way unless the people were a
complete branch, so only one or two reconnects needed.

Don't see any way to use John Cardinal's TMG Utility to apply the citation
to only the focus group, unless you already have a citation only attached to
the focus group that you want to modify.
