I didn't see it as disparaging, Dean, but rather as a statement of fact --
it *does* /tend/ to make a pedigree freak (I'll admit to being one of those)
cringe to see step-families included in genealogy reports. But one could
easily view that as a hangup of the so-called true genealogist, rather than
as an idiosyncracy of the so-called family historian. One person's
organization is another person's A.R. Perspective is everything, and we're
all family here. ;)
