Cheryl,
Since posting the original, I have used the role Wifenotpaying taxes. It
shows in her PV. It has really helped me when researching the women. When
you are looking at her PV, you don't always realize that her husband was in
a certain area at a certain time.

Hi Tom
Thanks for sharing that sentence. I like it, and see potential to use it on
a global sentence with a role. Especially for some of my women, who have
married, born children and then just disappeared - likely to an unmarked
plot on the unmarked cemetery on the home farm. I spent 4 years cleaning up
my database because way back when I started research, it never occurred to
me that I would want to print a narrative type report - how wrong was I
about that! So I have this sort of tingly feeling on the back of my neck
when I even think about modifiying a sentence locally <G>. Know it works
great for some, but having just whipped my sentences in some semblance of
consistency so that I can make global changes when better ideas occur, I
think I will not backslide...yet <G>

I guess you could use a role name like "AssumedInHousehold" to indicate that
she was not named directly. But, and this is just my preference, I go back
to
what I said about the Residence tag. If what I want to convey is that she
resided at that location, I would make that the tag and make the tax list a
source.
I might also change the local sentence to;
"Based on her husbands name appearing on the [D] tax list, [P] was probably
living [L] at that time"
Sorry, I just couldn't resist using a modified local sentence without added
roles <vbg>.
