You don't have to have WP5.1. I send all my reports to WP5.1 and open it
with whatever version I have of WP (currently 10). WP then converts it to
the correct version.

I just checked and I was able to get my accents ok in the report and index.
I was using the Arial font and printing to WP5.1.
