But unless I've missed something in the last update not to the list of
events report, and it’s the list of events report required for this job or
cemetery research etc. I've been asking years for the option of event name
be used for this report

Karen,
I do not believe you can get the woman's married name in a list of people.
However, you can add a column for the "Spouse's Name Group; Surname." You
could also just print the Spouse's full name "Surname, Given" to the output
of a List of People report. I do not know if you can just output the
spouse's surname.
