Well, yes. Unlike v4, there are really no sample Report
Definitions. What you are doing is making your own Report Definition
file. This (each Report Definition with a different Configuration
Name) is stored in the location (folder) you have selected for
Reports under Advanced in Preferences. If you later have problems
with that Report Definition or just want to start over, you would
delete that file and the default is shown again.

I strongly suggest that you give the Configuration Name and/or any
associated filters names that are meaningful. So if you have a
filter for persons born before 1900, give the filter that
name. Similarly, name the Report Definition a Configuration Name
like "List of People born before 1900". You can have as many Report
Definitions and/or filters as you wish. Therefore, the more detailed
your names are then you can more easily select the one you want next
time. Just giving it a new Configuration Name or filter name causes
a new Report Definition file or filter file to be created.
