Jim,
The druggist was Ernest Grady (Smitty)Smith, we lived across the street from each other for 10 years. His wife still lives there and is doing fairly well. All 5 children are I guess. I think you mean Linda Copeland, not sure, she has remarried and lives in Canton I think, do not remember her last name now. Where ex went, I do not know. Their sons death really got them. I think H.D. went to Quinlan from W.P. He sure was good to my mother at his place in Edgewood. I went with Eckerds for awhile but just like the home town treatment I get at B&H.
Does anyone remember Dr. Watson? I remember when I was in second grade in Clarksville and was very sick and he sat by my bed all night. I believe it was his sister who was Principal at our school and she use to send me home "with the mumps" ever so often as my checks were so fat. Those old memories are so precious. We should take the time to slow down, take someone cookies, call someone just to say hi.
