Jim,
Adele Wynne Monning owns the store. I thought you meant book keeper. Yes Jim is kin to one of them I think. Mrs. Monning only had sons. Her mother was a Bruce. When you live here 40 years, work at the genealogy library and on several books of the county, you learn about the people.
Why does Red River Co TX not have another marriage book. The only one stops at 1901, that is 100 years ago! If I was closer I would help. I have helped with history, pictorial and cemetery books so it could not be as much as those. I am 100 miles from Clarksville. Ok, you people who live in the area, let us hear from you. We need a marriage book to start with. I would buy one. The way the county clerk is set up with a computer all they have to do is push a key and it will run all the people of a name. They sold the last and I have asked them every time I go in (which is about every two years) to do this for us. They told me it would take a clerk from her duties and they could not.
