That fits in with what my mother told me. I was born in Red River
county in March of 1942 and she said that I came into the world between
two of the biggest snows she had seen in our part of the world. I was
born at home out north of Bagwell and delivered by my great-uncle, Dr.
Walter Stephens. He was assisted by a neighbor woman named Cecil
Taylor.

Jim, Yes a lot of snow, but (before your day) we had big snows the
first
two Sundays in March 1942. I have a picture somewhere to prove it. MS
