If that tax list Ed found in the Mongtomery Courthouse has not been
transcribed (I'm guessing it has not been photocopied), someone living in
Montgomery Co area call the Regent of a local DAR chapter and inform her of
this find. DAR is always looking for original records to transcribe and make
available to the public. I'm guessing one of more members of the chapter
will happily and willingly transcribe the lists.
Be sure to ask that a copy of the list be kept locally in one or more places
and also a copy sent to the Salt Lake Library. They will send the list to
NSDAR in Washington and made available there to the public. Barb
