Hi all,
Several people have asked me about ordering these maps so I'll tell
you what I know. It was made by the Roanoke County Historical Society.
It's great, cool, etc. I bought mine at the Montgomery County Courthouse
in Christiansburg, VA. at the information desk.
I spoke to Mrs. Christman who was so nice. She knows a bit about
Montgomery Co. since her people have lived there for a few centuries.
I think it was six or seven bucks and I would have paid twenty. It
is about 18x22 inches and a must have.
I suppose you could write the Roanoke Historical Society and I'm
sure that there address would be listed at the Rootsweb Roanoke County
site. BTW -- the Virginia Room at the Roanoke Public Library is one of
the best Genealogical research rooms I've been in (other than the big
state and University sites).
Maps are cool -- Ed
