Not much help here but I did find this in:
Hemenway's Vermont Historical Gazetteer
Vol. 3 pg. 45 Orleans County Vermont

At the fair in 1868, there were two exhibitors of Devons, E. A. Leach,
Irasburg, and Geo. Nelson, Craftsbury. (Both town are in Orleans County)

Vol. 2 pg. 210 Fletcher, Vermont Franklin County.
I find one of the original members of the Congregational Church listed as
Jannette Boynton from Cambridge, Vt. (Lamoille County)
