I am looking for information on a Thomas LAPAN married to a Julia
Letourneau Abt 1858 in St. Albans. Thomas' parents are Laurence and
Elizabeth Deforges. Thomas had a child Juliette born 29 May 1859 in
Georgia, VT., Joseph Israel born Abt 1969 in Milton and about 12 other
children - Alfred, Nelson, Marie, Thomas, Peter, John, William,
Elizabeth, Catherine, Silas, Frederick and Jay.
I am not sure all these children belong to Thomas and Julia as there may
be two Thomas's/Julia's. I am trying to make a connection to Canada and
perhaps to the GABORIAULT line. LAPAN may also be LAPALME or
GABORIAULT.

Most of the information about the children has been obtained from Census
records which is why I can't be sure these are all his children. The
dates of birth on some were before Thomas' marriage!
Places of birth include St. Johnsbury,Waterbury, Essex, Barnet, and
Malone, NY.
