Unfortunately I am still searching for my gggg-grandfather James Ward who seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. 1st wife is unknown, but she died sometime around 1849, maybe during giving birth to her last child Ambros Ward.

I am looking for James Ward born in 1804 in NC, lived in Pasquotank Co. NC, prob. died bet. 1850-1870 maybe in the Civil War.
In the 1850 Census of Pasquotank,
James Ward age 46
Nancy age 46
Alfred age 21
James Jr. age 20
Enoch age 15
William age 11
Stephen age 6
Sarah age 4
Ambros age 10mo.
Caroline age 18 was a Dillon
William E. age 8 was a Jennings
Martha age 11 was a Jennings
Nancy Ann Bundy was his second wife They married April 20, 1850. Their children Alfred Ward and Caroline Dillon married also. Nancy was also married to Nathan Delon and Benjamin Jennings.
Does ANYONE connect with these names??
I am needing to find James' parents and his first wife. I am assuming his parents were from NC as well since he was born in NC, but where?
Can anyone help me find My Ward's Please??????
