Do not have much on my Wm.WARD
Below is posting I did in July.

I am looking for my husband's gggrandfather.
The only information I have on him is from his daughter's death certificate.
It shows her father's name as Wm WARD.
She was born in TX Dec. 1859.
Married Jan. 1879 in Navarro Co. TX
Died Jan. 1932 in Wichita Co., TX
Her name was Sarah (Sallie ) Diane WARD
On the 1900 Navarro Co. TX census she shows she was b. TX,

father b. N.C., mother b. Indiana
In 1910 and 1920 she shows her father was b. MO
I have nothing on her mother or siblings.
She married Sebron Green BERRY and they had five children, only 2 lived to adulthood and they were named George Sebron BERRY b. 1884,and Sarah Rebecca Ida BERRY b. 1881(my husband's grandmother).
I found the following family in Waco, McLennan Co. TX in 1870

William WARD 52 KY Teacher
Sarah 41 Indiana
Louise 14 TX f
Sarah 11 TX f
James 9 TX m
Ephraim 6 TX m
William JAGAR 36 Prussia Butcher
Nancy JAGER 16 TX f
The 11 year old Sarah, would be the correct age, and Mclennan Co. is close to Navarro Co.
If anyone knows anything about this family, please let me know.
Thanks,
Shirley Roark

I RECEIVED THIS IN REPLY TO THE ABOVE POSTING:
Saw your Post on Genforum Ward # 10875 and did this look-up for you on the
1880 TX census. This may be your William and Sarah, E W Ward is the right age to be Ephraim.
I don't have any connection to this family just did the look-up thought it might help you.
S. L. Taylor may be your Sarah as she is a Widow said S. L. Taylor father
born KY mother Born IN so this come very close to a fit for your Sarah born
1859 TX.

I believe that the 23yr old S.L. Taylor in the 1880 census is the 14yr old Louise from the 1870 census. My Sarah was already married and in Navarro Co. by the 1880 census.
Again, if anyone has a connection to this WARD family, please connect me.
