I have two households of Wards in the same neighborhood of the 1881 Prince
Edward Island census, who were born in Nova Scotia, but I don't know where.
One family is headed by John Henry Ward, born circa 1816, and the other
household is headed by Solomon Ward (I assume he's John Henry's son), born
circa 1846. Solomon's wife Lucretia and two daughters from the PEI Census
are found later in the 1900 Census for Haverhill, Essex, Mass, without
Solomon, but with a third daughter (who is my great-grandmother) born in
Massachusetts. The date of emigration/immigration is reported as 1882.

Any connection to your line?

Anyone with info reference Parents of John WARD, B; abt 1788, Digby, N.S.?
His father, James WARD, believed to have built the WARD HOUSE, oldest
private home in Digby, abt 1794.
