My WARD line doesn't go back very far, except for speculation.
DAVID WARD was born March 16, 1847 in Belmont County, Ohio. He died November
27, 1927 in Vienna, West Virginia. David WARD married Lucinda PARK in 1867.
Lucinda Park was born December 12, 1851 (dau of James and Elizabeth Park) and
died in August 1936. David and Lucinda WARD are buried in Mt Olivet
Cemetary, Parkersburg, WV.
David WARD's parents are believed to be Isaac WARD, born Sept 23, 1823,
Washington Twp, Ohio, and Charlotte CLUTTER (of Pennsylvania?). Isaac WARD
married Charlotte CLUTTER June 14, 1844 in Belmont County, Ohio.
There is an Isaac and Charlotte WARD on the 1870 WVa Census for Grant Twp,
Jackson Co, that lists others in the household as James, age 21 Caroline,
18; Lameta J. (?), age 15; Sarah, 12; Isabell, 8; Isaac 7; Manetta (?)
4;Cincinnati 4. David would be 23 by that time and already married to
Lucinda for 3 years.
