Sorry, as of yet I have no birth information either. Hoping
that the death information might give me a clue. The earliest
information I have on him is the 1840 census and has him in
Crown Point, Essex County, NY. The 1880 census for his son
Nathan Lockwood Webb, indicates that his father was born in
Rhode Island.
