So far as I know, I have no Osmond ancestors. However, I do have an ancestor, Osmond Burbage, who was born about 1746 (I don't know where) and married in Yeovil in 1785. The highly unusual Christian name of Osmond seems to me to be likely to be the surname of someone important to the Burbage family, or at least to this part of it (perhaps it is his mother's maiden name). Has anyone spotted any connection between an Osmond family and a Burbage family?
