Does anybody have an interest in the family of Joseph & Lydia Shute of
Gillingham, Dorset. I have a copy of his obituary, his death occurred in
August 1911 & he was born circa 1837 in Buckhorn Weston. The family were
Primitive Methodists and lived at Lodden Farm, Gillingham

Joseph & Lydia had 9 children and 2 of his daughters married into my family.

The children are

Martha Priscilla c 1861 married 1881 Edwin Hiscock
Eden c 1864
Mary c 1866 married 1885 Sidney Albert Hiscock (nephew of Edwin)
Harriet c 1868 married Arthur Tucker. Harriet died 1928 obituary available
James c 1869
John c 1873
Julia c 1875
Albert c 1878
Lillian c 1880
