Further to the obituary Mary found I offer this Edwin Thomas Shute and his
wife Elizabeth received today. I was so struck by the coincidence that I
have to share it.
I have traced a Great Uncle Harvey Rawles, (Methodist family) from Bere
Regis via Bishop Auckland and St Martins, Shropshire to the Rhaggatt Estate
near Corwen in Merioneth in 1891 and 1901 censuses. He was a game keeper so
I asked the Merioneth List who was living at Rhaggatt Hall. The owners were
evidently not in residence but this is the kind reply I received from one of
the listers:-
"As for the occupants of Rhaggatt Hall, all I know is from the 1881 census
and that at that time it was an Edwin Thomas Shute and his wife Elizabeth.
His occupation listed as coachman and he was born in Taunton, Somerset."

Best wishes
Joy
