Hi Sara
My g3 grandmother was a SWEET and I'm wondering if there is a connection
with yours. In the 1851 Census for Banwell, her name is quoted as being
Billender, her age suggests she was born in 1804 and the birthplace is
quoted as being Ollard. I don't know of a place with this name, but it could
be a mis-spelling of Aller. She married William FOLLETT, probably in the
early 1830's, but I don't know exactly when and my g2 grandfather John
FOLLETT was born in 1840, the mother's name being quoted as Belanda. In the
1881 Census for Banwell, Belinda gives her birthplace as Bridgewater.

Minerva Sweet born somewhere in Somerset, between 1805-1812 and in Stoke St
Gregory, Curry Rival and Aller by her own account and probably somewhere
else entirely and possibly out of the time frame mentioned above! She
married George Watts in 1830 and had children 1831 to 1850 so I think she
must have been born between 1805 and 1815. Can anyone help me find the
baptism/parents/siblings of my elusive ancestor?
