Can anyone give me the dates for Marriage indexes for Bristol. I have a
marriage I want to check but don't want to pay out for the certificate!
This is William Barfoot HUNT to Sarah Brabner, widow in the 4th quarter 1878
in Bristol.

The same applies to a death - I don't want to waste my money! I have the
burial entry for Robert WARREN aged 52 in Marnhull, Dorset 27 1 1894 but no
entry in Sturminster just one in Bristol. So either he died at Bristol and
his body returned to Marnhull or the entry was recorded in Sturminster
Register records but did not get through to the national registers.
