Okay, new year, time to shake some new relatives from
the trees!! I'm wondering about all those WESTs in
Highland Co, OH.

I am descended from William WEST (William, Nathan,
Henry, Wilfred, Wilfred)(that's William Sr.) These
WESTs were in Highland Co in 1830 (earliest census I
could find) first in Jackson two, then in Marshall twp.
There are MANY (!!!) other WESTs in Highland Co, and
early on there are several more in Jackson & Marshall
twps. Anyone have any ideas about how they all
connect? Or why they/my ended up there? I do know that
William Sr's second wife is a THAYER and they are there
in the co. (I say the names today while I was at the
library)
