Dear List/Curtis Warner:
I do not have a copy of the document Francis West and a Survey of His
Descendents. I know it exists in complete form because I worked with it at
the NEGHSL in Boston. I have copies of pages 80/81/82 and the table
explaining the abbreviations for his citations. If you would like these
pages, please e-mail your address. Perhaps the contacts at the Dukes County
web site knows where a complete document can be obtained. Also the NEGHSL
has a protocol for obtaining copies on their web site but not knowing what
pages I needed it was easier for me to vist the library during a business
trip. Have you looked at The West Family Register, Important Lines Traced,
1326-1928 by Letta Brock Stone, Washington, 1928? An Eileen on this system
was kind enough to inform me that this is for sale at the Higginson Book Co
at http://www.higginsonbook.com. Back to the Survey by Carleton Prince West,
I even called directory assistance in Winston-Salem, North Carolina looking
for his phone number but came up empty. I would love also to obtain a
complete copy of this manuscript and would like to know Carleton Prince
West's background as he appears to be a formally trained gynealogist. Good
luck--let me know how it goes. Curtis West.
