Hi, I have an Ann Winston with a John Henderson b. 1768 in Leesburg, NJ. or in Bridgeton, NJ. His father is Charles Henderson who m. a Priscilla Clark. They are suppose to be buried in Dividing Creek Church Cemetery in Divid ing Creek, NJ. He died 1797 and she was from there. There also seems to be a Heaton, Gideon with an Ann Lore and I read someplace that a Seth Heaton gave the land for the cemetery? Do you know anything about this.
We are also from Ore. and Washington State. Hood River, Ore and Portland Ore and Tillamook, Ore. My John Leland Henderson died in Tillamook, Ore. He was married three times to a Hattie Humphrey, Marian I. Grimes in La. Rapides Parrish, La. father was James I. Grimes. This info is on Irisgay on World Connect Project under John Leland Henderson. I notice you had a Cooper which I had seen and talked to someone who said Coopers came from Oh. She also said they were related to Morris and Moss. I believe these people went to La. with a Shackleford. I have seen this in my research. Shackelford was with someone in Mo. Cape Gireaudeau, Mo. with a Judge John Robinson Henderson. These I think are or maybe with Alexander Henderson? Also I have a Shackelford with a Thomas Henderson son of Nathaniel Henderson and Elizabeth Carroll and Eleanor Springs. They were in Chester Co. Pa. also someone said Eleanor Springs came from NH.? Not sure if right. I don;t know for sure if An!
