I am researching Robert Wise b. 1849 Wantage and sailed to Australia 1875.
He married Mary Eacott b. 1852 Wantage and they had a son Walter Victor
Eacott b. 1875. Robert and Mary were not married for the birth of their son,
hence he was named after the mother.

If there is a WISE connection I would love to hear from you.
