I would be interested in finding out what you do know about your WISE family from Theale. I live in Canada but just last month we visited the Tilehurst, Theale and Englefield parishes. You could walk from Theale to Englefield, these places are so close. We have connections to a WISE family from Englefield. Samuel WISE (whom I believe is the s/o Samuel & Martha) married Elizabeth Vickers in 1777. They had 2 daughters, Betty & Martha. Martha eventually married Joseph LOVEGROVE. Often people could live in Theale and be baptised in Englefield and vice versa. So would be interested in any info that you have on your WISE family from Berkshire.
