I am looking for information on a Mildred WISE.
Born about 1889 in Ohio.
This is my great grandmother on my mothers side.
I have found the following information on her.
She married Albert King b. KY ~ 1858 they married in 1908.

She and Albert are listed in the Wood County, WV census in 1910 as having been married 2 years, his second marriage, her first.

Mildred was deceased prior to the 1920 census, but she gave birth to a female child, name unknown, possibly stillborn in 1917 or 18. (I have seen this birth certificate, but my memory is failing me as I'm typing and the info is at home)
Other Children of Mildred and Albert are:
Carl (my grandfather)bet 1909 and 1911
Frank bet 1911-1913
Hazel abt 1914
Albert bet 1914-1915
There has been a lot of question as to the correct age of the children. My grandfather, Carl was reportedly born in 1909, however he is absent on the 1920 census, and listed as age 9 in the 1920 census in the Henry Logan Children's Home in Parkersburg, WV. Frank Lee's birth year was reported as 1911 but he is listed as age 7 in the 1920 census. The supposition is that the ages are all off by 2 years, somewhere for whatever reason.
The previous information is basically All that I have on my grandfather and his parents, after 2.5 years of intensive research and 15 years of off and on research. If anyone out there can shed any light on the family of Albert and Mildred Wise King, of Wood County WV, I'd be forever indebted.
