Hello,

I am searching for Franz ZINK, the brother to my 2nd great grandfather Joseph ZINK. For about 20 years, now, I have been unable to locate him, anywehere after he stepped foot off the ship.

Franz ZINK was born 20 Jan 1837, in Baden, Germany. Franz came to the United States in 1855 with his father Andreas ZINCK, and his brothers, Bernard, and Joseph ZINK.

Andreas, and his sons lived in Maryland, and then eventually Andreas, and his sons Joseph, and Bernard, and there families, settled in Marietta, Lancaster County,Pennsylvania.

BUT, WHERE on earth did Franz go?? Does anyone out there have a Franz ZINK or ZINCK, born around 1840 in Baden, Germany ?

I would greatly appreciate any help in locating the elusive Franz ZINK.
